Muskies were on the menu Saturday. We fished a long day but only netted a nice pike around 11. Mike had a good fish roll up on him shortly thereafter but nothing stuck in his mouth. No jumbino walleye interactions either which kinda surprised me a little since we had devoted several morning hours to jigging.
Sunday was spent chasing big browns and walleye. We were able to take advantage of a nice mid-morning feeding window and put 7 walleye (16-23”) and 3 trout(17-22.5”) in the net. The wind beat on us all day long and was from a bad direction for boat control. Water temps are dropping quickly and range between 40 and 44.
Back on the muskies Friday and Saturday then walleye/trout on Sunday.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Stay tuned and good luck.
