With Winter break beginning and a decent looking forecast next week, I think it is time for the first trip of 2020. It was about this time last year when Andy and I were testing out a slightly modified Rig Boss when a 50.5 decided she liked what she saw. I plan on driving straight to that exact spot next week to see if we can have a repeat. :)
Anyway, good luck to those of you who venture out in the near future!

We ventured out for muskies on Sunday and could not put the hooks into anything. We did have a small pike and an upper 30's musky come to the boat but no dice. Water was 35/36 everywhere we fished with early morning skim ice in a few spots.

Since the Warren's girls basketball made it to the PIAA playoffs once again, I had to move my trip for Saturday. We will be hunting the toothies on Sunday for sure and maybe without wearing gloves all day! Extended forecast is looking pretty nice over the next week or so.
