Finally got the boat wet today, inside and out. I launched at Chester's about 8 am in a really dense fog and headed down by Brown's Creek. I slipped with the current and vertical jigged and soaked a dead rod, both tipped with large fatheads. Picked up 3 shorties, 1 big crappie, 1 small mouth bass, and 2 big white bass. Moved upriver by Skeeba and used the same presentation. I wrapped it up about 1 pm after sitting in the rain and drizzle that started about noon, and had 9 more shorties, 1 more white bass, 1 15 1/2" in male, 1 16 1/2", and 1 18" female, both released. Both females were still hard, and the male was milting. Water temperature 46.2-46.6. Marked some schools which were probably white bass about 2 feet off bottom.
