I had a couple good days on "Pete" Tuesday, and Wednesday. Tuesday I tried four spots on the channel edges from Monroe to Longview with live bait very little action. Put the boards and cranks in and game on. I had 2 "keepers" at 19 1/2, and 19 3/4 inches, a bunch of "shorties", and small white bass. Water temp was 71. Wednesday I started out south with live bait again and only a couple bites. Water temp near the dike was 61.2. Headed back to the north end and put the cranks in again and in an hour and a half I boated 5 "keepers", 2 in the slot, had 4 more nice fish come unbuttoned at the net. Still a lot of "shorties", and small whites. Water temp there was 72. :cool:
