We found several active bass in the early morning hours and then shifted gears over to Esox for the remaining 3 hours. We raised 1 musky and 2 pike but could not get them to eat. The musky was in the 40” range and the pike appeared to be around 30-34”. The bass ranged between 1 and 3-ish pounds.
We will do an evening session tonight, sleep a little bit and then do a Wednesday morning combo while focusing on pike/walleye/bass.....basically looking to bend a rod as often as possible.
Water temps ranged between 67 and 74 depending in location and the river continues to have a low flow. The baitfish are plentiful too!
Good luck and stay tuned!
