Mike from Wautoma booked another trip for this morning. We launched from the County Park at 7:30 and fished until 12:30. We started out near the north end on the channel edge tight to wood. We soaked dead rods tipped with Black Tails, and small Suckers, and jigged with fat-heads and half crawler. It took quite awhile to get all lines in the water again. Some times we had four and five rods going at once. We hopped to three different spots and caught fish at all three. We ended with well over 50 walleyes, 2 "keepers", 3 in the slot at 20 1/2, 25, and 27 1/2, 2 white bass, and a cat.
I have extended my season for one more week. Open dates at this time are: 6th,12th,14th,15th,16th,19th,20th,21st,22nd, and the 23rd. The boat gets power washed, waxed, and winterized On the 24th and 25th. This is my last year of full time guiding. 2021 will be on a very limited basis. This web site will go off-line sometime in November. After that I invite you to join me on my Facebook page @ Angler's Pride Guide Service. Thank you for following this page for many years.
