The very recent post-storm river conditions were not what we expected yesterday morning so after 4 hours of spinning our wheels, I made a long run back upriver and we managed to put 8 nice bass in the net ranging between 2.5 and 4.5 pounds with 6 of them being in the 3.5 to 4.5 range. The numbers weren’t normal but the sizes made up the difference. It is that time of year when small changes in weather can mean huge amounts of leaves in the water. Frustrating for sure.
We will likely do a similar plan today.
Stay tuned and good luck!
