Martin and I had a chance to get out and fish the Fox River this weekend, fishing up there is not the usual, it's tough, locals keeping fish, pressure and VHS, it's a shame this system is also not being stocked at the time.
Brutal; NNW winds and snow. The water temps are lo as 37 degrees and as high as 44 degrees in the discharge, water clarity is normal to a little cleaner.
Martin and I went 2 for 2, Martin caught a nice 42.5 inch muskie and a 22 inch walleye and I caught a 38 inch muskie and a 19.5 inch walleye, we both also had two other muskies on and lost them, one we seen and the other wasn't seen.
Good luck, hard water is almost here.
I will post pics soon.
