I'll be coming up Wed night for the long weekend. Is there enough ice in small back corners of Leech, or other local lakes? I sure would like to get out! Thanks, Scott P

It has been colder than you know what up here. I think some of the small lakes should be safe but it is always a tough call at this time of year. Take caution, carry ice picks and a chisel to test the ice as you walk. We did walk out about 39 yards on Traders Bay last week end.
