I've stayed in Butler a couple of times, both at the Super-8. Its cheap, but a dive, not recommended. I believe the Days Inn is right across the street which looks like a nicer place. You might want to check with Frank (aka Toothy) about the Days Inn. If I recall, they had an "interesting" stay there. Both places would be about 10-15 minutes from where the show will be. There is another place right at the exit for RT 8 South off of 422 that looked pretty new but I can't remember what the name is. Maybe Frank will remember. Might be the Fairfield Inn and Suites??

My bad experience was from the drunk guests and strolling guitarist in the pool area that was a local that followed you around the pool area, even if you weren't really into his made-up songs about the wife that left him.
I guess locals can pay to enter the pool area, they just need to be "selective".
Not sure if Fairfield has a pool, I was going to check into that for the show.

I will hold off until I hear where you guys are shacking up......I do not need a pool but a beverage area close by would be nice as I tend to dehydrate very easy.

Days Inn, 139 Pittsburgh Road, Butler, PA. 16001. Phone no. 724-287-6761.
Try asking for the Butler Fishing Show rates.
Also, Saturday and Sunday during show hours, we ask that all vendors park on the side of the school away from the doors. This way there is parking for the people coming to the show. Admission to the show is thru both the front and side doors of the school.
