Looks like it's time to quit pretending in the garage sitting in a shack and get out on the ice. Any word on the conditions on the east side...off the Vangabond or little south? Chris....I assume you got some bait?

We haven't heard specifically from the east side just yet, but would assume it's the same as the rest of the bay in the 4 to 5 inch range.
We're getting loaded up with bait today. Our bait guys finally got their shiners tested and cleared for VHS, so we'll have plenty of them on hand for the guys that swear you can't catch a fish on a fathead (funny how they work just fine all summer long, though.) The classic line I was told years ago by an old perch jerker was "Perch can't see a dark minnow. Perch can only see shiny minnows."
Anyway, let the ice games begin!
