dang barge!

did anyone lose anything from the barge today not sure if it came through yet but i heard some shacks were lost. not sure if its true or not hopefully not. you think we would get a little more notice as to boat movements when they know damn well that there are guys out there fishing... i heard the warning on 105.5 thanks for the heads up and to chris for posting about the warning but come on they knew that barge was coming for some time so why not get the word out a little sooner payne and dolin there could have been kids out there or people that hadnt heard of the barge... or what if a deaf person was on the ice and couldnt hear the boat? i think a little more responsabillity is in order from payne and dolin than just a few hours notice!!!

oh well thats just my two cents...

The barge came in late in the afternoon. The tug cleared the way first, then went back to get it. I'm pretty sure all the shacks that were there the day before were moved in time. As far as I know, nobody lost any gear.
