I was reading an article in Musky Hunter today and saw this bit of news I thought was worth putting on here for people that had not seen it. The article is in Dec 08/Jan 09 Musky Hunter Magazine (State of the Musky Universe) 2 things that really caught my eye were 1st, vhs does not appear to be the massive killer that it was first thought to be, 2nd, Recent information shows that the virus does not survive above 72 degrees and does not do well above 60 degrees. This appears to be good news for southern musky populations. We here in the Southern Musky range can only hope this info is right on the money.
