I hope you don't mind me posting this here. I think people need to be made aware of the on-going problem we face every winter in our area.
This is why spearing shouldn't be allowed on our BROOD lake. This is a very common problem and we have caught fish that have survived encounters like this. The majority of the fish that are speared are not fortunate enough to survive.
Very sad and definately a problem that needs to be stopped.
