New for 2009 Musky Armor introduces The KRISCO to its growing line of high quality fishing lures!
The Krisco is an extremely durable shallow diving crank-bait that is very versatile. The Krisco can be used as a trolling bait, casting bait, surface bait, or twitch bait. The jointed Cisco shape gives the Krisco a unique flashy serpentine action that drives big game fish crazy. Built with a high buoyancy body, the Krisco really backs out of cover making it a top choice for casting shallow rocks, weeds, timber and flats.
The Krisco comes with inner chamber rattles that create the perfect amount of sound to attract trophy fish. The big profile, loud rattle, and knocking jointed action will prove to be a night fishing favorite, Trolling is what separates the Krisco from all other crank baits. The shallow running depth of the Krisco assures that you will be fishing above the fish “in the strike zone”. Whether you're fishing spring timber, summer speed trolling, shallow rocks at night, or running slow in the fall, the Krisco Delivers.
The Krisco is 9.5'' long, weighs 2.4 oz , and has three 5/0 hooks. 0'-4' casting and will troll up to 8'. Krisco's are available in 10 proven colors at you’re favorite retailer. 9 Custom “Guide Select” colors, are available only at the 2009 Musky Shows and at www.muskyarmor.com

THE MUSTAD® SLOW DEATH HOOK CRAZE ROLLS ON WITH NEW LARGER AND SMALLER HOOK SIZES
Mustad®, the world’s best-selling hook brand, has added new sizes to its popular Slow Death crawler hooks. Designed by Mustad® walleye pro-staffers Gary Parsons and Keith Kavajecz, the Slow Death hook is an actual Aberdeen-style pattern with a special kinked shank that, when threaded with half of a night crawler and trolled at slow speeds of less than 1mph or in drift presentation, produces an enticing corkscrew action. Introduced for the 2008 season in size 2, the hook is now also available in sizes 1 and 4 to meet demands that accommodate a broader range of species.
“This is a finesse-type presentation created by the shape of the hook.” said PWT champion Gary Parsons. “The hook design is critical,” added Kavajecz. “It helps create the enticing corkscrew presentation that makes the whole technique so effective.”
The hook is typically rigged with a swivel, which eliminates line twist, on bottom bouncing or inline weighted rigs. Because it is a slow presentation technique, it reaches areas that faster blade presentations typically skip over. The hook features an ultra sharp, ultra strong point and is available in three finishes:
● 33862G: 24k Goldplated
● 33862R: Red
● 33862BR: Bronze

New Lures for 2009 from Shack Attack!
"2008 was a great year for Shack Attack Lures, even in this tough economic climate our business continued to grow. We would like to thank all of our customers, supporters and pro-staff for making 2008 a great success.
We have some new products for the 2009 season. These lures will be available at the Tri Esox Chicago Musky Show. The Suzy Spin features #8 and #5 Colorado blades; these blades give off huge amounts of fish-attracting vibration without too much resistance, making this an ideal bait for prolonged use. Once you have seen just how productive this lure is, you won't want to take it off!
Another new lure for 2009 is the Mammoth Curly Sue; this lure is over 25" with the tail extended and weighs 23oz. It can be cast or trolled and has already caught some huge fish during testing in the fall of 2008.
We will have a range of custom show colors; these colors will only be available at the show and in limited numbers. Some of the custom colors are hand painted, once they have been painted we clear-coat dip them to ensure that the paint does not rub off, this also gives the lures a very bright and shiny finish.
At Shack Attack Lures we are known for high quality fish catching lures, this is due in part to the high quality materials that we use during manufacturing. Remember that by buying our products you are supporting American companies and not just Shack Attack Lures, our suppliers as well. This may seem like a drop in the ocean, but every little helps to create employment and keep money in this country. So next time you are looking at purchasing your lures, think about where they are made and where your hard earned dollars are going.
Come and see us at the following shows:
Chicago Muskie Show, January 9, 10 and 11 www.chicagomuskieshow.com
Ohio Muskie Show February 27, 28 and March 1 www.ohiomuskieshow.com

The World’s Best Superline Just Got Easier - Spooling is a breeze with PowerPro’s new EZ Spool!
EZ Spool
• SPOOL DIRECTLY FROM BOX
• BUILT-IN CUTTER
• PACKAGE PROTECTS REMAINING LINE
The only thing not included in this ultimate portable line winding station… is a place to sit.
"As braided line performs at its best when packed tightly onto the reel, fishermen have wrestled with cumbersome methods of applying the desired amount of tension when spooling up. Until now, common self-spooling methods consisted of using an expensive line winding machine, running line through a gloved hand or phone book with a brick on top and even two-man spooling teams: one holding the spool with a pencil through the center while the other attempts to evenly crank the line onto the reel. These timeworn methods are now obsolete.
PowerPro’s new EZ Spool is the most revolutionary development in fishing line since the introduction of braided superlines 15 years ago. Its all-in-one cartridge pack allows for easy spooling directly from the box, protects remaining line and includes a built-in cutter, tri-lingual instruction booklet (English, French, Spanish) and arbor tape.
Unlike monofilament, braided line will not stretch and cling to the reel barrel. The angler runs the risk of the line slipping on the arbor of the spool, especially if it gets wet. To avoid the risk of slippage, a section of the included arbor tape can be adhered to the reel barrel before attaching the line.
After threading the braided line though two holes in the plastic box flaps, the self containing EZ Spool package can be held between the knees. As PowerPro line is spooled directly from box to reel, the angler can apply the desired amount of tension with his knees, allowing line to be spooled tightly and evenly. When finished spooling, the built-in cutter severs the line and holds it neatly in place.
Dealers and distributors will also benefit from the new “cutting edge” tri-lingual packaging. With a streamlined design distinctive enough to be patent pending, EZ Spool sets PowerPro apart from the competition. EZ Spool is entering the marketplace backed by a strong marketing campaign in regional and national print ads starting in June ’07, as well as dedicated support at the retail level with compelling Point of Purchase materials.
It has often been said, “Necessity is the mother of invention”, but with the introduction of the new EZ Spool, invention will prove to be the mother of necessity."

HOT new special order custom color DC-10's and Krisco's, now available from Llungen Lures!
A brief history:
I discovered the "goldfish" pattern years ago as a teenager when my friend Pete Maina sent me a Weighted Burt in the color and told me to try it in our local stained water. At the time, Musky Mania Tackle was offering the color on the Burt and Jake series lures as a "special order" color. I did, and before the week was through had boated my first 50" class musky from the Wisconsin River system here in the greater Wausau area - "goldfish" had found it's way into my heart.
I proceeded to catch scores of muskies, including some real beauties, over the next several years on "goldfish" patterned baits of various makes and models here on the Wisconsin River system. On a trip to Lake of the Woods one October, I again put the "goldfish" to the test and again it came through not only scoring on numbers of fish, but a true giant I was fortunate enough to catch and release while fishing with friend and musky legend, Doug Johnson - we were both sold!
Since then "goldfish" pattern baits have been hard to find, and the few I have remaining have seen much better days. While chatting with a buddy of mine recently, Keith Eldrup, who owns Musky Armor and Llungen Lures, I brought up the "secret" color. Keith and I swapped ideas on how to best tweak the pattern, and he set about painting it - ladies and gentlemen, "joeldfish" is here!
Available in the Krisco and DC-10, the new "joeldfish" is going to be one of the hottest color pattens going in 2009 for stained water of any degree, and also as a "shocker" bait in clear water. If you're interested in ordering "joeldfish" pattern baits, contact Keith through his website at: www.muskyarmor.com
