went out fishing this morning and 2 of us ended up with 5 walleye, 20,21,23,16,and 17 inchers , it was the perfect morning with most of the fish caught on the #3 green glow rap. fishing in 20-25 fow. All were caught on the jigs. we are going back out tonight for hopefuly our next 5 walleye. good luck everyone this weekend. FISH ON

That is great..... Without giving all your secrets do ya mind telling the general area you were fishing. yellow gate...terrace........?????

off the yellow gate, and tonight only 1 23" of a tip up and a few undersize. all in all 2 of us caught 6 keepers today.

Just a quick note. I hope that you only kept 5 of those eyes each. If you go out in the morning and keep 5 eyes you can't go out in the evening and get 5 more.

Sounds like you have had fair success on the bay. If going out from the yellow gates.....how much ice is there for using a vehicle? Are people getting around most of the upper bay in trucks? Thanks and continued success....

people are using trucks in the upper bay, i drive to my shack ,but stay away from the river mouths , the days and whitefish mouths are dangerous.

was out sat and sun mornings trucks all over the upper bay and now there are quite a few trucks south of gladstone and off the terrace too. not sure on the ice down there but there is over a foot in the upper bay near second reef not sure about near saunders pt. allways less ice and some open water there with all the current from the narrows...

Fished Saturday lot's of small Walleyes like 20 some in the 11" to 14"' range. Did end up with 2 Walleyes that where 17". Fished in 19' of water. Ice was 15" thick. Good luck fishing from Walleye Quinn.
