I am wondering about ways to access the bay from the east side to ice fish. I travel from Manistique, and am looking for the shortest route on to the ice. I heard that someone near the Vagabond Resort will let you access through their yard for a small fee. Is this true and can anyone provide any information for me where it is? Vehicle access on to ice, parking on shore for truck and trailer, or foot access? Also how far of a walk would it be from shore to some deeper water (30 feet)?
