Fished south of Gladstone yesterday morning in about 32 fow depth with my brother who was visiting from Chicago. We managed to take home three walleye (17, 19, 22") all coming on tip ups with medium sucker minnows. All in all we had six flags. Landed the three, lost two others and one with nobody home when we got to it. We also both had one fish on a piece while jigging. Moonshine red grape and a hand painted #7 jigging rap in purple/white both got hit. I'm not sure what's going on with us and jigging this year, but it's sure been slow in the shack. Tip ups have been hot for me this year, though.
