Hit the ice at daybreak south of Gladstone. Had one nice fish on ..briefly...then screen went blank for the next 1 1/2 hours. Wind picked up and after not marking "any" fish, decided to head north to Kipling. Went out to try it just off second reef. Set up two Clams next to the truck. Well, as those of you know who may have been out there, one gust darn near lifted me and the shack. That's when we decided to head off. Oh yeah, the fact that an 8x8 permanent shack blew over made it an even easier decision. The hour or so fishing we got there produced no markers on the vex. Tough Day!!
