Vilas County walleyes

With Saturday being one of the nicest days we've had in awhile with temperatures pushing 34 degrees, we decided to head up to Vilas county and one of our favorite walleye lakes. We weren't disappointed as flags starting popping just as the sun started to set. The walleyes were hanging tight to green weeds in 2-10' of water. We had luck with both tip-ups baited with medium shiners and also jigging. While the fish weren't huge, we kept enough for a great fish fry while releasing several more. Take a kid fishing
