area. Fish 15 feet of water or less in and around weeds. Use a large
shiners under a tip-up.
Panfish action is generally good in the Eagle River area. The secret is
being mobile, digging lots of holes, and not sticking to one spot. The fish

move on. Electronics will help a lot.
Crappies in the Eagle River area are in deeper water, with depth, lake
dependent. Fish 25 to 30 feet of water over structure. The crappies will
generally suspend within 8 feet of the bottom. Use a crappie minnow under a
slip bobber, or a small jig and a waxie.
Bluegills are in and around the weeds in 15 feet of water or less, in the
Eagle River area. Use a small jig tipped with a waxie, spike or grub.
For perch in the Eagle River area, fish sand flats in 15 feet of water or
less. Use a small jig tipped with a waxie, spike or wiggler.
The walleye bite in the Eagle River has picked up just a bit. Best bite is
late afternoon around sundown. Fish break edges in 25 feet of water or
less. Use a medium shiner under a tip-up.
