Perch are biting!

I just received a report that the perch are biting out from Carlson's on "The Rock". Wigglers are the preferred bait. They have the water pulled down on "Pete" to the lowest I have ever seen it, but they don't have "The Rock" down very far, as of yesterday at least. The ramp at Nekoosa is open and the river is ice free down to the County AA boat ramp. I have also had reports of some good catches of crappies. With the melting we have had over the past week the influx of fresh water really gets the action started.
