nice fish

Went fishing with some buddies fri & sat. We ended up with some nice fish, but not a lot of 'em. Mike got a 41" pike on a tipup, which managed to get hung up on Johns deadstick 50 yards away.That was pretty interesting for a little while, thought we had two big fish going at once. John caught the biggest walleye at 28". On sat. we ended up with 14 perch. Was fishing the north end in 32-36 fow. Walleyes came on #5 raps tipped with minnow heads. Perch were caught mostly on wigglers, a few on minnows. Pike ate a 5" sucker.

Quality vs. quantity is OK by me! Nice fish! Our back yard never ceases to amaze me. People fish their entire life and most have never caught fish like that. Yea, we put in a lot of time but one nice fish (or three) make it worth it. Slammer!!!!!

Coming Up to fish this next weekend, would love to have a couple like you got hit the ICE.
