Guides and Captain's Weekend @ Cabela's 3/7, 3/8

The Big Spring Fishing Sale kicks off at the Hamburg Cabela's this weekend. There will be around 20 guides and captains from all over North America doing free seminars about fresh and saltwater fishing. The Hamburg store is the largest Cabela's in North America at 255,000 square feet.

The seminars begin at 10am on Saturday and Sunday.

Last year's event saw 3-4,000 folks PER HOUR coming through the door.

PIAA Wrestling states in Hershey this weekend as well. Going to be lots and lots of people heading over to cabelas in the off time.

Yep, it will be packed. There was even some "wrestling" traffic 2 weeks ago.......

I miss those days of going to Hershey.

We had a great weekend meeting new folks and talking fishing. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and chatted.

The weather was great with temps in the 60's. There were guys catching muskies on the Susquehanna over the weekend and I saw some photos on a friend's cell phone just minutes after their catches.

It is almost time to start pounding the water!!
