Want to thank Bayview for great place to stay at a great rate. Allows a few guys to come up for a weekend and not go broke.
Fished Sat in 34ft, ended up with 7 nice perch, handful of small walleye and one nice 27"(CRP) on tipup rt at dark. Tough bite to say the least. When they did hit, they hit hard.
Started the Sat morning out rough, hit ice shove just off shore and blew tire. thanks to the couple in the Chevy for stopping on ur way out to check on us. Got set up, heater wouldn't work, dog ended up eating our burger buns. Coming in Sat night we got stuck in a crack just from shore and some great guys came out to help us. Good thing it was only 2ft where we went in. No longer will i go off the lake unless its a main route. Guess we are glad to be OK and we did have a good time otherwise. Brother and I went home with a dozen jumbo perch and exciting memories.
