Do any of the rivers north of the cedar get runs of fish such as ford and esky?
And whens the time to get those fish? As soon as ice leaves?
Thanks

I went out every year for awhile in the spring and trolled for browns south of the ford. Its been quite a long time since I have caught one. We would catch them out by the noseeum. Don't catch browns anymore but get a couple of splake now and then.

I tried 4 times last year (Cedar and Ford) and only caught walleyes. If you want a good fishable population of browns you pretty much have to go to Algoma, Two Rivers, and Sheboygan. And once the ice is out, you can catch them. If you are really hard up you can go to Milwaukee and hammer them right now.
