It looks like we are going to get some decent weather for at least the next 5 days. When the weather has been good their have been some nice limits of walleyes being caught. Right now the river is open to just south of Eagle Island. I would guess that by Sunday the River will be open to South of Crow Creek.
It is now open to Kiowa Flats. (3/16/2008) The channel opened up to South of Chamberlain this afternoon. It looks like that if we get some wind it will not take time to open everything up. Hopefully the weather stays nice. Limits of fish caught today.
The motel and bait shop is open. Stop in for up to the minute fishing report and grab some minnows and whatever else you may need.
