Crappie Mania

Capt. Doug Schreiber and the crew from On the Water Adventures had such a good time last weekend, they decided to come back and shoot another show. Needless to say, the crappie action on Lake DuBay was on fire. Using small spoons tipped with minnows or Micro noodles and tipdowns with small crappie minnows, the gang put a hurting on the crappies. By noon, Capt. Doug left with plenty of fish and footage for another show. It was a great day on the ice. If the weather stays nice, the ice is going to go fast. As the ice starts to deteriorate, make sure to stay safe. No fish is worth losing a life. Take a kid fishing.
