Just got back from Kincaid Lake's Musky Road Rules School. Water levels on the Cave are still several feet below summer pool and on a slight rise with the recent rains. Water is clear and today topped 50 degrees is some spots. Fishing seems to increase everyday' Scott landed a super fat 44 and 41 few days ago and out of the lodge last week over 2 dozen muskies were caught. The warm up early last week produced 5 fish for me between 30 and 36 and I think Lance boated near 10 for the week. Generally speaking the big girls haven't shown yet in very good numbers several have been seen in the past few days. Today 6 fish were caught from guest at the lodge. Seems the good fish hasn't hit the coves yet. Shad are just starting to show. Patterns are the same as always this time of the year, rattlebaits, glides and minnow baits. Should be some big girls caught this week.
