upgrading to a 150 Suzuki

Hi TY I talked to you at the Chicago show about upgrading to a 150 Suzuki on my 618 Ranger.Can you tell me what hole your motor was mounted on and What size is your prop? Also have you tried a Solas 4 Blade prop. Thanks Tim

The prop is a 14 1/2 X 25. You should get mid 50's for speed with that. I'm not sure what hole the motor is mounted in. The boat is in storage down the road. I'll check the next time I'm down there.

I talked to Ranger and had two different answers One said Three holes down then another said four Holes down. The problem is the 618VS is discontinued and they don't sell a lot of 150 Suzuki's. If anybody have a 618 VS with a 150 Suzuki I would love to hear from you.The motor gets installed on Fri Thanks

Hey Tim, the Suzuki on my boat is mounted on the second hole from the top. Hope that helps.

Thanks Ty I will have them mount the motor on the 2nd Hole down.I am going to try some new 4 blade props and I will let you know how they work out. Thanks again Tim
