Hello fishing friends, The ice is gone, and Lake Erie looks good. Our docks are in and we'll be getting the boat in the water by 3-27-2009 or sooner. There are a few boats in and have been out Walleye fishing this week. They have caught a few Walleye. The water was still pretty dirty early this week and was cleaning up nice. I expect that with warmer weather next week 3/23/09 that jig fishing should start to heat up. Friends have been fishing in the Maumee River this week and doing very well with jig and minnow in the warmer shallow water. Capt. Ron
