With the end of walleye season, it almost seems like there's a giant "NO FISHING" sign out on the bay. As a result, we are shortening our hours at the shop. We'll now be open everyday from 8 to 5 until we get some open water. If you want to do some fishing after work, but don't get off until 5, give us a call at the shop (786-1488,) and we'll stick around a little longer so you can bait up.
We still have quite a few sucker minnows left over that are just going to die on us if we don't get rid of them. If you like to use sucker cut bait for catfish or lake trout, now's the time to stock up. The large $2 suckers are now .50 cents a piece. The smaller .75 cent ones are now .25 cents a piece.
