With spring here and dirty water all around us, the rattle bait bite will last quite awhile this sping.
Over the years of using Rat-L-Traps and Tony Grant's Rattlin' Shad's, I have found that using the right leader definately produces more strikes and fish boated.
John with Stealth Tackle has made these new Rattle Bait Leaders for me, Tony Grant and Gregg Thomas down in Kentucky and Chad Cain and his crew down in Southern Illinois. These things are really sweet, and were exactally what we were all in need of.
No swivel, no snap, just a short 174 pound test wire leader and a strong welded ring to split ring the bait to.
