What lake(s) in the St Germain area has the best fishing for LM and SM bass? Thank you..
If you don't mind portaging a canoe--I've always had fun catching LMB at Prong Lake. The trail is off of hwy 70 and its only 10 minute walk in. This is a catch and release lake that is protected. The fish aren't very big but you can catch all you want--I went a couple years ago and probably landed 30 in an afternoon.

I'll have to try that lake out and I only catch and release. What I'm looking for are the big Smalls and Largies.
