Keep dreaming! Menominee County hasn't had a smelt run for years. The local fish house sells them though.

I've gotten some the last few years, but hardly worth the gas or time. I think its called South town creek.(right before you get to Manistique on US2) It is usually one or two a scoop and takes hours to get enough for a meal.

Where are the Smelt. Just woundering if any one had any luck smelting this spring.
