Fishing report 4-17-09

With the sun up high and the temps in the 70 the fishing slowed down in the afternoon. But the morning bite is good. Headed out at 6:00am this morning and had 2 fish the first drift and 1 fish the 2nd drift and then thing slowed down for me. I was in at 11 am and Randy was heading out on the 2nd guide job today. Randy did find fish in the afternoon using heavy jig and keeping it on the bottom. He told me he was working it slow making sure he was on the bottom. He also came in with 3 nice fish. I hope this will help. Right now the hot color would be orange and yellow in the morning and Purple in the afternoon.
