Flowers are in bloom the fish are biting what more can we ask for.
The walleyes are on the bite feeding up after their ardeous spawning. The weather this weekend put them off alittle but there back at it again now. Weather is going to be nice this week other then a chill in the air. I have been doing well on Deep Smithwicks. As far as color you have to play with that. I was out the other day they kept changing when the sun was out clown and blue was good when it would go behind a cloud firetiger would go off.
I have heard rummors some 7lb. Smallies have been caught this weekend but the Bass are on the bite and some really nice fish are being caught. From downtown Sturgeon Bay all the way up the Penn.
Some nice Northerns are being caught in the shi yard area to the big bridge.
Browns are still being caught ont he lake side and the inner bay. Water temps on the lake are arond 46 degrees and the bay from 50-57 degrees depending where you are at. Where I was fishing walleyes I seen the temp drop 8 degrees from Friday night to Sat. morning. Did that put the walleyes in a bad mood.lol
Good Luck
