I have never heard of a sun up or sun down
regulation on opening day although I do
think steelhead fishing has a sundown regulation
on some tributaries..
I would have to say that 1201 am on Friday
morning and you should be legal to have fish in
you're possession..

Yes it 12:00:01 AM
I am familiar with that from the years ago on Lake Gogebic. People from the south end of the lake, "Central Time Zone" would come to the cabin I fished out of to get the lines out an hour earlier. LOL..
Lots of guys would make the trip to the north end of the lake with there boats. Made Bergland Bay real nightmare on the opener. I've seen launch lines a mile long there.

In the bay off of Cedar River, today is the third day in a row of small craft warnings. I have been down at the marina each night working on my boat and it has been smoking out there. Who knows what to expect out there????
With the predicted rain and good blow from the SE, it is probably going to be pretty miserable Friday night. Saturday is supposed to be cold and quite windy too. Here is the forecast that I use to predict conditions out on the bay. http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/hdfForecast?query=sister+bay&searchType=WEATHER
