Cold nights are still making early morning fishing a bit on the brisk side, with high winds not helping much either. Went over to a river yesterday to try and get out of the wind and catch some walleyes and bass. The bass were biting alright, with some nice fish boated. They wanted big chubs fished on jigs right along heavy current. The walleyes didn't cooperate as well with only a few small fish landed. Was a lot of fun fishing a river, something we don't do that often, and we'll be on a river again Saturday to round out the segment. Going to be windy through the weekend, fine for fishing but not for filming. Have a great weekend!
