With the warmer temps forcasted for the weekend there should be an explosion of fish activity in the weeds. Not to say fishing has not been good this last week, but I would expect even more. Walleye fishing has been consistantly good to say the least in green weeds of any sort. Walleyes have been caught in depth from 1-10 feet either in the weeds or just off the edges. 1/16 oz jig and minnows have worked the best, but as the water temps get into the 60's in the next few weeks look for leeches to start as well. I have had a great week of fishing with even muskies being aggressive in the weeds as well while walleye fishing. Good luck to all this next weekend as it should be a great one!
