Friends and I (3 boats) have been getting a mixed bag along the Gladstone/Esky breaklines mostly by trolling stickbaits for suspended fish. Pike, walleyes, smallmouth bass, two bonus splake, one crappie, several rock bass, but no outstanding catches. This morning (Tuesday) a friend and I jigged up a pike, crappie, one smallie, and 3 walleyes (two keepers, 20 1/2" ans 21 1/2"). We fished in the rain/wind/ and slight hail just after sunrise. Chilly! Best action was between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. My wife fought a big pike to within ten feet of the boat, but it somehow thrashed enough to throw the Husky Jerk she was trolling.
