The walleye fishing on Vermilion has been pretty good. We've been doing my best in the mornings and late afternoon until dark. We've been doing most of my fishing in deep water 32-55 feet of water. We've been using black or green jigs 1/4-1/8 oz tipped with a rainbow minnow or a small sucker minnow. We've also been trolling rapalas on some shallower flats. Right now the best bet is to jig for walleyes. We've been catching alot of fish over the slot size and finding some to keep has been hard at times. I'll be out guiding this coming weekend and will hopefully have a report up. Thanks for checking us out and if you have any questions or would like to book a trip with us you can give me a call at 218-780-2615 or email me at petruskasguiding@yahoo.com. Thanks again.
