Just got back from a week in Mercer fishing for Walleye /Crappie /Musky. Had a great time and the weather was great except for the wind on WED. Ended up with a good deal of walleye from a few different lakes including the TFF. Some excellent Crappie action throughout the week and ended it with a couple of Musky on SAT.( 35 and 38 inchers) Caught 7 more musky during the week jig fishing for walleye--They were all small --in the 24-30 inch range. The 2 larger one's came from casting for musky on opening day. walleye were decent size--Largest was 21 inches and the Crappie again were Great with many 12+ inchers. Had a great time--all the fish we caught were shallow water--1-8 FT. Slip Bobbers - Jigs and Minnows provided the majority of the action. Also got a couple really nice smallies while Jig fishing--a 18 + 19 incher. Can't wait till Fall to get back and try again.
