A very good weekend of fishingin the Chamberlain area. Almost everyone staying at the Hillside caught their limits of walleyes. The west bend and Lower Brule area was outstanding this weekend. There were also limits brought in from the White River to elm Creek area. The main thing this weekend was to pick the area that you know best and more than likely you would come in with your limit of walleyes. On Lake Sharpe it is a minnow and crawler bite. On Lake Francis Case it is mostly a crawler bite. The main thing is to put yourself into an area that has good numbers, you will have to catch a good number of fish to get your limit. But again that is part of the fun. Out of my guide boat, our group from Owatanna, MN caught over 200 fish in 2 days. A fantastic Memorial Weekend fishing trip.
Now is the time to come out fishing, whether on a guide boat or on your own. Our staff will make your trip very enjoyable and successful.
Look forward to seeing you
