I am getting a little tired of these muskies chasing down my baits and not chomping on them. What is the best way to increase my percentages? I get em to come in and I do a good figure eight, but they disappear?!

Slow down or speed up? I have brought many of them in when I am burning my baits really fast, hard to slow down then.

Big oval instead of a figure eight???

Get the bait down lower in the water???

Throw back lure? If I am throwing a bucktail, maybe throw a topwater in the direction of travel????

Welcome to spring fishing. It isn't anything you are doing, it's the time of year for follows. On frontal days in the spring they hit good but one sunny days you see a ton of follows without many hits. They'll snap out of it quick though.
