Friday morning's walleye and panfish action was decent at best. Starting out, my client and I anchored on a 5 foot deep rocky point that the wind was blowing into and found a couple of nice keeper eyes on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads. After that action stopped, we moved on to vertical jig the cribs and found our remaining 4 keeper eyes along with a few throwbacks and 2 jumbo perch and 3 good size crappie. The afternoon trip didn't go as well as the winds increased and the action slowed down. Nothing shallow during the afternoon hours, but we did manage to catch 10 eyes, 5 of which were keepers out of deeper water, 13 to 17 feet over rocks and river channel edges.
Back out today, will keep you posted.
