Well good news to report good numbers of salmon are being caught off the edge of the Bank Reef. I talked with several friends yesturday and they had between 5 and 7 fish with several misses at mid morning. So if you haven't booked your trip yet with your favorite capt. (me) you should do so.
Some Smallies are on beds others are still in pre-spawn mode. The bay water is warming ever so slowly with the cold nights, but the back bays and little holes where the water doesn't move much from current are getting up there.
Walleyes are bitting real good at times and slow others depending on the day but even on a slow day we get a good number of those delicious 3-5 lb. Walleyes. Crank baits and crawler harnesses are the things to use. Avariety of different color/type blades and beads and the same goes for crank baits. My favorite is the Smithwick deep diver and the Wally Divers for shallow running.
good luck
