Monday greeted my 2 clients and I with a fairly strong NW wind along with a heavy blanket of fog, not to mention some pretty cool temps. Starting out in a wind blown bay with emerging coontail and sunken wood, we managed to boat a few pesty pike. Our next stop was very simular in structure, but we manged to boat 2 decent eyes, one on a Reeves jig with fathead and the other on a slip-bobber-rig. Moving on to work some shallow wind blown woody bays, we picked up the rest of our eyes in and around visible leaning driftwood and stumps. Have to say that some of these shallow cold front eyes were nice hefty ones. Also caught 1 smallie in this area along with several small pike.
