Fishing on the Fox has been improving tremendously. Including last weekend; have boated 8 muskies (up to 40") and have seen nearly 3 dozen fish up to the 45-46" class. Bucktails have been steady with some topwaters to keep them honest. Minnow baits and small jerkbaits still appetizing to the muskies. Water temps have ranged from 62-67. Water clarity remains great. Weed growth great all over and still coming in/maturing. Once the water temps are steady at about 70-72, the curly pondweed will start to deminish.
On a sadder note,:( have already seen 2 dead muskies; one with prop gashes on the head and back and the other I was not sure of its demise.
Will be heading up to the Eagle River Chain this coming weekend with the PMTT partner "Q" to fish the Headwaters Spring Classic..
Keep fishing but always remember that each day is different and thinking "outside the box" can put more muskies in your boat over the season!:)
