Despite Sunday's cold front like conditions, strong east winds, and 43 degree temps, the walleye were on a pretty decent bite. Working 4 to 6 feet of water on windblown shorelines containing wood and rock combo, my 3 clients and I found a good number of fish holding in these areas, not real aggressive, but holding on to the jig & minnow long enough to get a good hookset into them. We called it a a day at 11:30 AM due to the continuing winds and deep cycle batteries running low, we did have 9 nice keepers along with many hits and misses to show for our efforts.
Back out today, will keep you posted.
